Back to the Caribbean: A Fresh Perspective on a Familiar Paradise (and Our First Cruise!)
Those who follow us know that our hearts belong to the mountains and the trails of the Pyrenees. But the Caribbean has always been our second home.
It is not our first time stepping on these lands. Quite the opposite, we are in love with this region: we have traveled the Colombian Caribbean (Santa Marta, Cartagena, the wild Tayrona, and La Guajira), explored the Riviera Maya in Mexico, and lived islands like Santo Domingo, Providencia, or San Andrés. Angela even knows the secrets of Cuba and the Venezuelan Caribbean well.
But this February, we are doing something totally new for us: experiencing the Caribbean from the sea, on a 100% nudist cruise.
Why a cruise now?
If we already know the area and love independent travel, why lock ourselves on a ship?
The answer is community. This trip is a meeting point. We are joining a large group of naturist friends from the USA, Canada, and the UK. We want to share the freedom of sailing naked with them and, above all, act as hosts in an environment we are passionate about.
The «Freehiking» Experience on the Islands
The ship will take us to the Bahamas, Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba, and Jamaica.
With our previous experience in the region, we are very clear about what we do NOT want to do: get off the ship and hop onto a crowded tourist bus.
So, we are applying our travel philosophy:
- We have designed customized routes on each island for our group.
- We are renting our own vehicles to escape the commercial routes.
- The goal is to find those hidden gems: secluded beaches, corners of virgin nature, and, above all, local restaurants where we can eat real Creole cuisine, far from the tourist menus. We know how to move around the Caribbean, and we want our friends to experience authenticity, not a stage set.
Miami: Professional Connection & Wellness
After cruise, we are stopping in Miami, and the schedule is full!
We are using this stay to connect with the local wellness and naturist community:
- 👐 Networking: We have contacted local massage therapists and healers who work with a similar philosophy to ours (Tantra, Energy) to exchange knowledge and techniques.
- 💆♂️ Private Sessions: We are thrilled to share that we already have two private massage sessions scheduled with clients from Florida who, knowing we were coming, wanted to book with us.
- 🏖️ Haulover Beach: We couldn’t leave without visiting the most famous nude beach in the US and saying hello to our friends there.
We would have loved to organize a small workshop for couples, but time is limited, and we prefer to focus on enjoying these quality professional and personal connections.
